Routine appointments, vaccinations and non urgent problems should not be brought to Saturday evening or Sunday morning surgeries, except by prior arrangement with the Vet.

Out of hours cover

Our own vets cover all our out of hours work

We have now decided that the small areas of poor reception for mobile phones, that exist in this area, made our answerphone redirection to a mobile phone inadaquate.   We have decided to use an answering service instead.   The phone will be directed out of hours, so that, when you phone the normal number, you will be answered by dedicated staff at the answering service.   They will then take your details and contact the vet on duty - they have all our various contact numbers so, in the unlikely case of the duty vet being unavailable, another member of staff will be found , they even know our favourite pubs!

The answering service is, in no way, meant as a barrier between us and our clients.   But we hope it will surmount the reception problem and the anxiety about answerphone failure.
